When Kylie Cosmetics first launched, it was so popular and everyone was eager to get their hands on her first three lip kits. I was also one of them but I didn’t get the chance to buy them as they sold out so fast and I couldn’t bring myself to spend that much money on a lip kit haha. Once the hype died down and Kylie started to restock more lipkits, I decided to try them out; I got my hands on ‘literally’ lip gloss, ‘poppin’ lip gloss and the ’22’ lip kit.

I am in love with the lip glosses, they are so pigmented, creamy and they feel smooth on the lips. I was very shocked at how thick the consistency was, it is so thick that you only need one swipe on the lips and the colour shows straight away. The ‘literally’ lip gloss is a light brown shade, it is perfect for me as I am always wearing brown or nude lipstick and adding the lip gloss on top of the lipstick is perfect. The ‘poppin’ gloss is my all time favourite, it is so pigmented and beautiful on the lips. I also love the packaging for the lip gloss as it has a bit of gold in them, it goes well with the actual lip gloss.

I also got my hands on the ’22’ lip kit; this liquid lipstick is the perfect burnt orange colour and I have been looking for a lipstick colour like ’22’ for ages. The lip liner is perfect, it is very pigmented and it glides on the lips so smoothly. The liquid lipstick also glides on the lips easily, you only need one swipe and the colour stands out, it also feels very light one the lips that most of the time I forget I am wearing it. The only problem I have with the liquid lipstick is how drying the product is, it literally dries my lips out that I constantly have to moisturise them afterwards. Also, I done a test to see how long the product will last, I wore the lipstick to college (I was there for 4 hours) and after I finished, most of the product had gone. The product crumbled off my lips and they were very dry, I didn’t want to top up the lipstick either because my lips were so dry. Overall, the lip glosses are very good and I will definitely be purchasing more but I wouldn’t buy another lip kit from Kylie Cosmetics. I hope this was helpful and you enjoyed my post!
